The Adventures of Flat Batman

Some kids have Flat Stanley; we had Flat Batman. And yes, I realize that FB is not really flat and we are not really kids.

It all started on the flight to Tahoe for Megan's wedding. I was starving by the time I landed in Dallas and met up with Jen and Christine. I ordered a Happy Meal and was going to throw away the toy before Jen stopped me.

And it was a good thing because who knew how much joy Flat Batman would bring us?? The only rules: Flat Batman had to go everywhere with us and we couldn't let Megan and Chris (aka bride and groom) know until after the wedding weekend.

Here we are at the first stop in Tahoe, Fanny Bridge. Aptly named because of all the fannies you see as people peer over into the water to see the fish. Funny thing...Megan took this picture and she had no idea what we were doing.

We're not up to anything...

So you can't really see FB's fanny through the cape, but you get the idea.

Here he is looking all superhero-y. Other than that, I don't know what he was doing in this picture.

Such a lush.

This was definitely our shining moment: FB on top of the cake at dinner the night before the big day. Jen snapped a picture of him on top of the actual wedding cake.

Cute couple.

Superheroes gotta look nice too!

FB showing us his killer moves. (And Chris was still completely unaware.)

Kung Fu Casino.

On our way back to Dallas. Good times in Tahoe.

You can read about the rest of Flat Batman's adventures on Jen's blog!

Wow. Lizbeth, I'm going to take this opportunity to applaud you and your pals for being so unbelievably stealth and awesome. Seriously, y'all are an inspiration. Also, snaps to you for the writing in this post. Hysterical. You just made my week. :)
