I know I've been MIA for the past month or two. Well, I've been spending my time at work. I spend most of my days scheduling trunk shows with vendors, writing copy for mailers and letters, planning cocktail parties and coordinating one major event each year.
But about 4 months ago we somehow landed 3 big events for our store, all to take place during one month's time. And then my manager gave her notice and moved on to a new job. I guess someone heard my wish for more responsibility. :)
The past few months have really been a challenging, but rewarding time. So many times I wished for another set of hands to help with coordinating the events. But if that other set of hands had been here I would never have gotten the same experience. So bittersweet.
Anyway, enough of my rambling. My family is always wanting to see what I do; hope this gives you some insight into my job. On to what you really want to see...pictures! (And I can't take credit for any of these pictures...we hired photographers to capture it all.)
