Christmas

I don't have too much to write, but I have lots of pictures to post! I was lucky enough to be able to take a little over a week off from work. I got to have Christmas at both grandparents' houses, Christmas at our house on Christmas morning and then spend a few days in Dallas. It was so great to relax and see family and friends!

Christmas on the Austin side is always so entertaining now with 10 kids! They're all my second cousins and unfortunately we only get to see them a few times a year. I love being the "coolest one" although they're warming up to my brothers so I may not have that title for long.

Waiting to open presents...

I guess the rest of the family got really boring. We watched them run headfirst into the couch for about 45 minutes.

And then they found this game. Another good 30-45 minutes spent laughing and watching this.

Typical...

The family

The gift from my mom and me was that we painted all the girls' nails, decorated Christmas cookies and watched a Christmas movie. I think it was actually more a gift to my cousins to have a couple of hours of peace and quiet!

And I finally got to meet Hayden, my cousin Doug's son. Now there's finally another boy in the family...poor Madison has had to put up with 8 girls growing up!

Our family decided to go bowling on Christmas Eve. We weren't sure who we would be celebrating Christmas Eve with at the bowling alley. So we decided to pick names to fit in.

I guess I didn't take any pictures of our family opening presents on Christmas Day. Otherwise, they would have gone here.

Then it was out to Odessa for Christmas with my mom's side of the family. No kids on this side so there aren't as many pictures. But my grandmother is usually just as entertaining.

Here she is with the cashmere scarf I gave her. So rich!

Then I got to spend a few days in Dallas and sadly didn't take any pictures but this one. And it's blurry at that! Oh well, too much fun to take pictures. I loved seeing you all!

Glad to see you had so much fun while you were here...even though we didn't get to hang out as much as we would have liked. See you in a couple of weeks!

I can't believe we didn't take a picture at the game. We are Dorks!

What a fun filled Christmas! Love all the family pics...especially the gloves! Rat, not to be obsessed with you or anything, but you look so beautiful in all the pictures! Btw, we need to get a Boston trip together ASAP.
